Bob O'Hara, the founder of O'Hara Restorations truly was an amazing and very knowledgeable man. We're honored to continue his business in his name.

A little bit of history about the founder of O'Hara Restorations and his dream of having an antique restoration shop written by himself:
"Back when I was a teenager, my father gave me my first car; a 1923 Buick. It needed restoration and a paint job so I figured I would learn how to do it myself. After reading all the car craft books I could, I was finally able to finish the restoration and actually do the paint job myself - all in my father's garage. It was a proud moment for me. After that, I decided that I wanted to become an entrepreneur of restoration work and car sales. So I opened up my own shop in Taunton, Massachusetts.
Eventually, I ended up in Naples, Florida where I continued to do the restoration work and car sales for almost 19 years. All the while my museum of antiques was growing with me - these are the things that I bought or that people gave me like cans, old tires, brakes shoes, license plates, radios, etc...
Then one day I decided to take a ride North on 27 to meet a friend. That was when I stumbled onto Scenic Hwy in Frostproof. The building was vacant and I could just see my name in neon lights. I had to have it - so I bought it and relocated my business and wife to Frostproof.
This has been a good move for us and we have met many neat people along the way. I still love what I do and will do it as long as I can. Stop in and say Hi if you get the chance.
